Allergy treatments

An allergy is the body’s overreaction to foreign substances. The body’s immune response is overreacting to substances usually not causing any health hazards. An allergy is best treated when allergological diagnostics are performed first.

The Skin and Laser Center offers the entire range of allergy testing and allergy treatments. These include:

Skin tests: prick test, patch test
Blood tests: IgE, specific IgE (incl. molecular allergy diagnostics), lymphocyte transformation test
Provocation tests: nasal provocation test, pulmonary function test
Allergy treatment
Immunization with injections or pills
